These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GetPayout mobile application ("App") operated by Costa Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The short version: GetPayout finds class action settlements you may qualify for and helps you file claims. We show real payout estimates from court documents, but we cannot guarantee you will receive any payment. Subscriptions are billed through Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies.
GetPayout scans signals in your Gmail inbox — such as email subjects and sender addresses — to identify open class action settlements you may be eligible to file a claim for. We display estimated payout ranges sourced from publicly available court documents and settlement administration websites. We then provide a direct link to the official settlement filing portal so you can submit your claim.
GetPayout is an informational tool. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we are not your legal representative. Filing a claim through a link in the App does not create an attorney-client relationship.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use GetPayout. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements.
You sign in using your Google account or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may only use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes — you may not use GetPayout to file claims on behalf of others or to operate a claims-filing service. You can permanently delete your account and all associated server-side data at any time from within the App, under Account settings → Delete Account. See our Privacy Policy for details.
GetPayout offers a free tier and a paid subscription ("GetPayout Pro").
Payout estimates displayed in the App are sourced from publicly available court documents and settlement administration websites. They represent potential amounts based on the settlement terms, not guaranteed payments to you specifically. Actual payouts depend on factors outside our control, including the number of valid claims filed, the claims administrator's determinations, and court approval.
We make no representation or warranty that you will qualify for, be approved for, or receive any payment from any settlement. GetPayout is not responsible for decisions made by settlement administrators or courts.
We source settlement listings from publicly available legal databases and court records. We update our database regularly and automatically remove expired settlements. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is current or complete. Always verify eligibility and deadlines directly on the official settlement administrator's website before filing.
By connecting your Gmail account, you authorize GetPayout to access your Gmail in read-only mode solely to identify settlement eligibility signals. We do not store your emails, cannot send or delete emails, and do not share Gmail data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how Gmail data is handled.
Our use of data obtained through Gmail APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The App, its design, and our settlement database curation are owned by Costa Technologies. Settlement information itself is drawn from public court records and is not our proprietary content. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COSTA TECHNOLOGIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING MISSED CLAIM DEADLINES, INACCURATE SETTLEMENT DATA, OR DENIED CLAIMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold Costa Technologies harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your filing of any settlement claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections 5, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, through the App. Your continued use of GetPayout after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Atlanta, Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
